A CLEAR, QUICK WORKFLOW
Choose the direction that matches your goal. Horizontal flip reflects an image from left to right; vertical flip reflects it from top to bottom.
Add a JPG, PNG or WebP image. Your chosen file is opened locally and shown in the preview area.
Use Flip horizontal to create a mirror reflection, or Flip vertical to reverse the top and bottom. You can combine flipping with a 90-degree rotation.
Check the updated preview, reset the changes when needed, and save the edited image. Batch mode applies the selected action to every image in the queue.
WHEN MIRRORING HELPS
Flipping is a reflection, not a rotation. Choose the direction based on the result you need, then use the preview to make sure the composition reads the way you intended.
A horizontal flip swaps the left and right sides of an image. Use it for a mirrored composition, a visual experiment or a reference image that needs the opposite facing direction.
Flip artwork, patterns or a layout to test visual balance and create a reflected variant. The source file stays as it was, so you can compare the saved version without overwriting your design.
A vertical flip reverses the image from top to bottom. It can help with a deliberately inverted visual, a texture or an illustration; review any lettering carefully because the result will be mirrored or inverted too.
A horizontal flip mirrors left and right, as if the picture were reflected in a vertical mirror. A vertical flip swaps the top and bottom of the image.
